Thanks to everyone who came along to the Nektar gig. Not the best evening of entertainment during the Fringe but pretty close. I tried a new song called People Steal Things From You on my own pretty badly and ballsed up the electric part of the set but we had a good laugh at it. Jesus, I'm not paid enough to act professionally.
Future plans include a gig in September which I'll keep you updated about and the recording of the album is about to start. The picture on the first flyer is Dock Boggs. Recorded music in the late 20's, became an alchoholic and his wife was of persuasive persuasion and convinced him to give up music during the depression. He ended up working in mines for pennies then was re-discovered during the 60's folk revival and got his music played to people before he died. Check out the compliation Country Blues on the excellent Revenant Records(founded by John Fahey). A great banjo player and singer. The picture on the second flyer is me after the set at Nektar.
