Two new demos are up on our myspace page. 'The Fable' (I used to arbitralily listen to the advice of elders. Their constant use of hand-me-down cliches felt like testaments in stone. I'm now wiser, and consequently realise my stupidity but it's too late anyway) and 'People Steal Things From You' (My message to someone else in concern for their health by resorting to the above and some bad jokes. I'm not any wiser).
We put down the main vocals and the harmonies on PSTFY last Monday. Still to redo the dodgy guide vocal on The Fable but the rest of the stuff on there more than makes up for it.
Hope you enjoy.

you truly are the warrior of nonsense, like wise I. But then i'm sitting in a madhouse eating fish fingers whilst trying to recreate the Beatles live at shea staduim using grapes and subutteo players. Gone yourself yi mad baz!

I was a Gadgee
I was a Napier
I was a Gowrie man
Between the wars
I raised an army
As I drove past Wolf Town
As people stole things from me
Between the wars
I played the Ubergospel on my car stereo
I looked to the B-side to admit I was wrong
But it hurt my hand as I kept on rewinding
"Let’s hear it just one more time"
Between the wars
Call up the chessmen
Bring me my draughtsmen
Build me a board so I can win again
And I'll stop my resent
For this government
That does not contain William Hague
Go find the Marc’d man to have a pint again
Bring up the legends from the days gone by
Sweet cheeky ‘Scotch’man
King of your nation
I’m coming up soon
Between the wars
I think I'm in love all over again. You exist in that hot space between Janey and Sarah. Or between Soapy and Forbes. Or between 1996 and 1997. Something happened then you know, and Willaim Hague wasn't in the hot space; he wasn't even on the inside sleeve. I still like chilli, but no longer like Ralph.
Would love to meet up again Mcbee of D.
Saturday 9th September at Cafe Royal with Lucky Luke. There may be a couple of solo shows whilst the drummer is away.
How can I get in touch with you? I lost your email address when I left the UK in 2003.
And do you do any upbeat numbers like If I should fall from grace with god?

No plastic money anymore
He was the first punk ever to set foot on this earth.
I've emailed both your addresses my son.
and all this talk of flammable liquids on planes - you can buy whisky on a plane for heaven's sake. not that i'm trying to defend bearded, middle-eastern religious nuts, who are prepared to die for their beliefs. on the third day he rose again.
